Dear Friends,

The Seed Association of the Americas (SAA) is organizing its second congress.
It is a time to gather to discuss issues that are common to our growing industry among Seed Companies and related business partners, to do business, and of course meet with our colleagues and acquaintances.

For this II Congress we have chosen the city of Atibaia (45 minutes from Sao Paulo airport), in Sao Paulo State, Brazil.

The congress will be held September 28 - 30, 2009. We chose this location for the congress, due to the importance of the seed market in the country and Atibaia as a location for its good infrastructure, where business and relaxation can be combined.

Among the trading tables, where you can discuss business with your colleagues, one of the main focuses of the Congress meetings are the “Phytosanitary issues affecting seed movement across borders”, this we are sure it is one of the most important subjects that deserves our attention, understanding and actions. Also to be covered in the program are intellectual property and biotechnology.

It is my pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the II Congress of the SAA, and trust that with your participation we will continue to have successful events that will impact the seed business in the Americas.

With my best regards, I look forward to seeing you in Atibaia, Brazil!
