Who we are?
SAA is a non governmental organization that fully represents the
interests of the Seed Industry within the Americas.
SAA members are countries from South, Central and North America,
represented trough their national seed associations and seed companies.
What we do?
The main purposes of the SAA, are to educate and support development,
marketing and free movement of the seed within the Americas and advocate
seed industry legislation and regulation issues as to ensure plant property rights.
How we do it?
In order to achieve these objectives, the SAA has the following structure:
Annually the SAA Board of Directors makes an action plan
and propouses it to the General Assambley to approve it.
In this action plan, the four committees have a key role,
developing strategies an working in order to reach the goals established on the action plan.
Each committee has a "leader country", with the responsibility to
present the outcomes to make them available through SAA webpage for all members.
