From September 26 to 28, 2022, it was held in Punta del Este, Uruguay, the 8th edition of the Seed Congress of the Americas, organized by the SAA.
The Seed Association of the Americas (SAA) is a non-governmental organization that fully represents the interests of the seed industry within the Americas.
The regular members of the SAA are the countries of North, Central and South America, represented through their national seed associations. There are also associate members who are seed companies that are aligned with the goals of the association and contribute with their work and research to achieve them. Other institutions that support the mission of the SAA are set up as affiliate members.
