Recently, Juan Kiekebusch, our Senior advisor on Biotechnology, wrote an article about the “Challenges for sustainable agriculture: The role of gene editing”, for the EUropainfo magazine.
This magazine invites experts, decision makers and representatives from different stakeholder groups to present their views on a selected topic. In this occasion, the issue covered was “agriculture & new genomic techniques”.
Juan wrote about the experiences from countries in the Americas, specially in South America, who already have new regulations in place in agriculture regarding new genomic techniques (e.g. CRISPR/Cas).
