In order to promote the development, commercialization and free movement of seeds throughout the region, as well as to advocate for science-based legislation and regulatory frameworks, SAA has partnered with Seed World Group to disseminate crucial information, specially focusing on our North, Central and South American industries.
Seed World LATAM was born in response to the Latin American seed industry’s desire for a means to disseminate and discuss priority regional and global seed industry issues from a Latin American perspective.
In this second edition, Seed World LATAM covers topics as varied as interesting, from phytosanitary challenges in the region to the development and consolidation of markets such as the Chilean or Uruguayan. It also addresses cross-cutting issues that affect the seed sector, such as leadership, human capital and the opportunities offered by new technologies.
The magazine also presents a summary of the last week of September in Lima, Peru, where several activities were held, including the meeting of the SAA Board of Directors, working meetings of the SAA technical groups, the first national seed forum in Peru, and a meeting between the SAA, IICA and regulators in the region.
